Spartan ISAR staff are swift water rescue (SRT) qualified and equipped. This means they are able to offer a range of in water tasks in addition to bank based and boat based options.
For fast moving or shallow water courses, inter-tidal mud areas, weirs and water areas with many entrapment hazards or obstacles, water in the working may be the only practical solution. We can then bring your personnel in via floating mats, inflatable platforms or modular pontoons.
We are able to create access and rescue systems when other providers run out of options. All our crews are SRT capable, so you always get the option for them to deploy into the water from the boat greatly extending the range of cover we can offer.
Our teams have been deployed into water courses countless time on jobs;
- to assist with the recovery of dropped or lost equipment;
- to clear construction debris that has been washed downstream;
- to provide wading access in vegetation clogged water or to access via silted water courses.
We provide all the in water PPE you would need including dry suits, thermal protections, floatation systems backed up by first aid, rescue and recovery equipment.
